Introduction to fly fishing! Learn the fundamentals of fly casting, reading and finding productive water, and presenting your flies to trout. This crash course covers the basics so you can fish more effectively on your next outing. These are short trips at easily accessible locations.
Half Day Trout Trips
$400 - 4 hours - 1 to 2 Anglers
Half Day trips are ideal for covering water on the Upper Owens River or getting out on Crowley Lake, known for its abundance of “midges”, a world-class stillwater fishery for fly anglers to target big, strong trout.
MORNINGS provide for consistent fishing conditions and are recommended for Half Day Trips.
Full Day Trout Trips
$600 - 8 hours - 1 to 2 Anglers
Take full advantage with a Full Day of fishing and venture further into new water in pursuit of Eastern Sierra trophies. Full days revolve around trip-specific game plans that prioritize finding big trout along the Eastern Sierras.
ALL FULL DAY TRIPS include a lunch, please let me know of any requests or dietary restrictions.
Trophy Smallmouth
Trophy Smallmouth Trips
Half Day: $400 - 4 hours - 1 to 2 anglers
Full Day: $650 - 8 hours - 1 to 2 anglers
Come chase trophy smallmouth on the fly rod in the beautiful Eastern Sierras! California grows impressive bass and these eastern sierra smallmouth are no exception. These fish offer everything from explosive top-water grabs to acrobatic jumps, and pull harder than you may think possible for freshwater bass this size. Spring and Fall months produce the biggest fish up to 5 or 6lbs, however Summer months produce the best numbers; up to 40 fish a day. Bass are a great option when temperatures rise and become unfavorable for trout fishing. Smallmouth are my personal favorite fish in the Sierras and an outstanding fish to target on fly gear!

Introduction to fly fishing! This trip covers the fundamentals of fly casting with an emphasis on fly presentation and finding productive water. These are short trips at easily accessible locations.
Half Day Pond Hop Trips
$400 - 4 hours - 1 to 2 Anglers
Booking a Half Day Trip allows for more time to cover more water. This trip focuses on maximizing opportunities at bass, bluegill and carp in the Owens Valley. The Lower Owens River, Buckley Ponds, and a wide variety of canals provide for excellent warm water fisheries at the feet of the towering Sierras.
MORNINGS provide for consistent fishing conditions and are recommended for Half Day Trips.
Full Day Bass Trips
$600 - 8 hours - 1 to 2 Anglers
Take advantage with a Full Day and venture further into new water in pursuit of Eastern Sierra trophies. Full days revolve around trip-specific game plans that prioritize finding big largemouth bass along the Eastern Sierras.
ALL FULL DAY TRIPS include a lunch, please let me know of any requests or dietary restrictions.
DRIVING your own vehicle from our meeting point is OPTIONAL as my truck accommodates 1-2 anglers and many fishing locations feature uneven dirt roads.
