Eastern Sierra Smallmouth
3/4 Day: $500 - 6 hours - 1 to 2 anglers
Full Day: $700 - 8 hours - 1 to 2 anglers
Come chase trophy smallmouth on the fly rod in the beautiful Eastern Sierras! California grows impressive bass and these eastern sierra smallmouth are no exception. These fish offer everything from explosive top-water grabs to acrobatic jumps, and pull harder than you may think possible for freshwater bass this size. Spring and Fall months produce the biggest fish up to 5 or 6lbs, however Summer months produce the best numbers; up to 40 fish a day. Bass are a great option when temperatures rise and become unfavorable for trout fishing. Smallmouth are my personal favorite fish in the Sierras and an outstanding fish to target on fly gear!
Owen’s Valley Bass
Half Day: $400 - 4 hours - 1 to 2 anglers
Full Day: $700 - 8 hours - 1 to 2 anglers
Booking a Half Day Trip allows for more time to cover more water. This trip focuses on maximizing opportunities at bass, bluegill and carp in the Owens Valley. The Lower Owens River, Buckley Ponds, and a wide variety of canals provide for excellent warm water fisheries at the feet of the towering Sierras.
MORNINGS provide for consistent fishing conditions and are recommended for Half Day Trips.
ALL FULL DAY TRIPS include a lunch, please let me know of any requests or dietary restrictions.
DRIVING your own vehicle from our meeting point is OPTIONAL as my truck accommodates 1-2 anglers and many fishing locations feature uneven dirt roads.
